I have these hooked up to a Pioneer VSX-821 receiver pushing 110 watts RMS per channel and I decided to throw a party and now everyone wants me to have another one because of how loud and good these things sound. I have been around professional audio equipment my whole life, and, these are some of the best speakers i have ever owned. bring a lot of power!, December 19, 2011 This review is from: Cerwin-Vega XLS12 3-Way 300-Watt Home Audio Floor Tower Speaker (Electronics) these are the classic big bad loudspeaker!! i have mine hooked up with a 100 watt receiver and a 100 watt power amp and i barely have the volume and gains turned up and they are shaking the house. the fact that they can handle a lot more is a bonus. these speakers are for real. crystal clear sound, thunderous bass, solid mids. i dont have enough amp to even hit close to what these speakers can do and my windows are shaking (and the neighbors too hahaha) i have had confidence in CV products for many years and these live up to the standard Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
